Strung Rooster Hackle Furnace Feathers 4-6" - Amethyst

Rooster Furnace (neck) Hackle Feathers 4-6 inches are strung (sewn) together near the tip of the quill. The body of rooster hackle feathers are usually no wider than 1/2" and are soft and flexible with very little fluff near the quill. These rooster feathers are thin and wispy (almost see through) thin, and and pointed at the tip. This style of feather identified as furnace is slightly degraded to absorb rich color dyes but remain shiny. 
These feathers are great for costuming, crafts, fashion, fly tying, floral and home decor.  They come in 2" strips, 6" strips, 18" or 1/2 yard, and 1 yard lengths.
