Stem Dyed Peacock Tail Feathers with Full Eyes 30-40 inches long are treated with dyes that stain the entire quill (stem), and amplify the natural iridescent hues of the peacock feathers. The width of the full eyes including the surrounding hair-like flue will range 1.5-4.5 inches. Although treated with dye, the original amber, green, purple, and blue colors of the peacock eye remain visible.
