Dyed over Natural Chinchilla-Rooster Coque Tail Feathers approximately 7-10 inches are strung (sewn) together near the tip of each quill. Natural Chinchilla feathers will vary in coloration and natural markings ranging from grey, to redish-beige barred stripes across the feathers. These coque tails are dyed over natural leaving the natural markings still visible. Rooster Coque tail feathers have a sturdy, but flexible spine (quill), and the body of the feather tends to be approximately 3/4-1 inch wide.
