Stripped White-Dyed Coque Fringe - Red

Stripped White-Dyed Coque Tail Feather Fringe with Bias Tape 4-6" inches long x 1 yard roll. This handmade Feather Fringe is made from Coque feathers (located on the tail of the Rooster) that have been stripped and sewn on to a polyester-blend bias tape. There are approx 17-20 feathers per inch. Stripping is a process that removes approximately 3/4 inches of feather from the bottom portion of the stem, to leave beautiful feather tips in order to create a very unique couture look. The tips of the coque feathers are thicker and wider than the stripped hackle. The natural white color of coque tails lends itself to dyeing vibrant, bright colors.
